Chile Thomas – Artist Statement
I create works that blend abstraction, satire, and symbolic imagery to explore the contradictions of modern life. Influenced by urban art and artists like Banksy, Van Gogh, and Käthe Kollwitz, my practice brings together layered styles and underlying social commentary. Each piece is a puzzle—juxtaposing humor and critique, chaos and structure—to reflect the complexity of the world we live in.
